I bought myself a simple gold wedding band for my self marriage. I wanted my ring to be something simple and unobtrusive, something I could wear every day and importantly which would remind me of my own self care and the importance of loving myself on a daily basis. I chose a pinky ring for my left hand. Wearing my ring is a daily reminder and a “pinky promise”:
